This is a painting I just finished. "Christ Fishstick" oil on canvas.

This ushers in a whole new angle on transubstantiation. Good to read you, Matt. Well?

I never really thought of that... But that's why I try to stay away from interpreting to much on my own artwork. Breaking the rules for a moment, I painted this with the intent of commenting on the place of the sacred in the modern age... and returning to my own dictums leave the conclusion to the spectator. Good to hear from you Donato! What's happening with you now a days?

Given your disclosure about the painting, I think I may have thought exactly that — the once sacred time and place of sacramental union, namely, in the meal Jesus gave us, has been displaced. Enter the fishstick.

Things are well here, SAX. Working on a good magazine, trying to grow the family, house, dog, etc., with hopes of pursuing doctoral studies one day. Lizzy's great, selfless and beautiful. What's up with you?

All these jackasses are leaving messages just to get me to look at their blogs. If you are thinking of doing this.... Fuck Off!
